A proper village pub with Ilton at its heart

Named after the Wyndham family, run today by Garry and his team.

The Wyndham Arms is a local pub in Ilton, Somerset, on Church Road near the village green — rustic, welcoming and family-friendly, with locally sourced Somerset food at the heart of what we do.

The Wyndham story

The pub takes its name from the historic Wyndham family, who inherited the local manor and lands from the Wadham family in the 17th century.

Today the pub remains a central part of the Ilton community, on Church Road near the village green. It's a rustic, welcoming, family-friendly place — open to families, dogs, walkers and regulars alike.

The building still does what a village pub is meant to do: feed people properly, pour a decent pint, and give the village somewhere to gather.
